Abstract
We propose to observe Cygnus X-1 with NICER simultaneously with millimeter band observations. These data will provide a time lag for the mm emission from the X-ray emission, helping to understand the structure of the jet, following up on a previous result which indicates that either there is strong acceleration in the part of the jet from which the radio emission comes, or the size scale of the jet is not linearly proportional to the wavelength.
