Abstract:

We propose Suzaku observation of a nearby isolated neuron star RXJ1856.5-3754 for the low energy QE calibration of the XIS. Our main purpose is, however, using this source as a soft X-ray QE calibrator on the sky. We hope this source will be observed again in future to check possible contamination on the filter surface etc. Note that the calibration is not only for the BI-CCD(XIS1), but also for FI-CCDs or relative QE among them.
