Abstract:

We propose the Suzaku observation of LMC X-2, to detect the slim disk structure in its flaring branch. The luminosity of LMC X-2 is always as luminous as the Eddington limit, and the absorption is so low that the energy spectrum can be observed over the 0.2-30 keV energy range. Then, LMC X-2 is the best target to study whether the disk structure becomes the slim disk or not.
