Abstract:

We propose a Suzaku observation of "the second GRS 1915+105" IGR J17091-3624 with a high energy resolution and broadband capability. GRS 1915+105 has been considered to be the unique black hole binary that stays at a high mass accretion rate and shows limit-cycle oscillations, but it was recently discovered that the BHC IGR J17091-3624 has exactly the same X-ray variability patterns as GRS 1915+105. This fact suggests an evidence for common physical mechanism in both system. The Suzaku observation will reveal both similarity and difference with GRS 1915+105 from a point of view of broad-band spectral properties and disk wind, and help us understanding of the accretion flow onto a black hole under a high mass accretion rate.
