Abstract:

We propose 20 ks x 12 mapping observations around the Galactic Center region with Suzaku. The existence of the non-thermal hard X-ray component in addition to the well-known thermal emission has been almost clarified from the past observations during the SWG and AO-1 phase. Through these additional mapping observations, the latitudinal distribution and longitudinal symmetry of the non-thermal component would be verified, and the co-existence of the two different emission component will be for the first time investigated.
