Abstract:

We propose to complete our mapping observations of SNR Vela Jr (RX J0852.0-4622) by covering the southeastern rim of the remnant. Suzaku XIS images obtained by our AO2 and 3 program clearly reveal an energy-dependent morphology of Vela Jr for the first time, which strenghens our motivation to cover the whole remnant with Suzaku. We are aiming at (1) completing the X-ray image, (2) separating the radiation from the pulsar wind nebula PSR J0855-4644 which exists nearby Vela Jr.
