Abstract:

A1674 is a nearby (z=0.106) richness class 3 clsuter with Abell galaxy count of 165, while its X-ray luminsity is as low as 6e43erg/s. We have observed this cluster with ASCA and XMM-Newton, and found iregular extended X-ray emission. The X-ray spectrum can be fitted with a thin thermal model of kT ~ 3keV, but the metal abundance is 0.07 with upper limit of 0.2. We assume this cluster may be a cluster under construction. Utilizing the low background level and high sensitivity of Suzaku XIS, we aim to obtain accurate X-ray spectrum of this cluster to constrain the metal abndance of each species. We also examine possible contribution of diffuse non-thermal emission in cluster scale.
