Abstract:

Clusters of galaxies are thought to form from accretion and merging of smaller systems among large-scale filaments. X-ray observations of cluster outskirts give us valuable information about the structure formation, gas heating and cooling, and metal enrichment of clusters of galaxies. Here, we propose deep surveys of a representative regular cluster, Abell 478
