     ASCA observations of the central and Western regions of the Perseus         
     Cluster have shown structure in temperature and abundance. We propose       
     to extend the mapping of the cluster to the Eastern regions.                
     Together with data from PV and AO-1 observations and that from a            
     complementary proposal on the Japanese side this will provide               
     temperature and abundance maps which will be crucial for                    
     understanding ASCA observations of more distant clusters. These maps        
     will also supply some reality to the trendy game of N-body/hydro
