   We are engaged in a fundamental programme to determine the Hubble
   constant by physical means, using X-ray observations of clusters of
   galaxies in conjunction with Ryle Telescope (RT) images of the
   Sunyaev-Zel'dovich decrements towards them. We have already obtained
   suitable observations of one cluster, A2218, finding H_0=38 +18/-16
   km s^{-1} Mpc^{-1}. We now have RT images for several more clusters,
   including two, A697 and A1914, which do not have X-ray spectral
   temperature measurements. We therefore seek the ASCA observations
   which are absolutely critical for establishing the value of H_0.
