   PR #    65
   AM HER makes an excellent spectral/temporal/PSF calibrator. AM Her is
   the prototype for the class of magnetic CVs whose strong B field
   results in phase-lock sychronization of the WD rotation period with
   the binary orbit. The 3.1 hr orbital motion results in deep eclipses
   as the observed hard X-rays producing region disappers behind the WD
   limb for 0.1 of the orbit cycle. The bright point source spectrum
   consists of the predominent soft BB component, Tbb < 40 eV, a hard
   bremsstrahlung component, Tbr ~ 10 keV, and a strong Fe line at ~ 7
   keV. The expected count rate is problematic as AM HER cycles through
   high and low X-ray states (timescales ~ yr, 90% high). The last
   reported observations indicates a high state. $@ (J
