VSOP Survey Program observation of J0424+0036

J0424+0036

The data on this page are described in detail in
The VSOP 5 GHz AGN Survey: V. Imaging results for the remaining 140 sources
by Dodson et al. in Astrophysical Journal Supplement, 175, 314-355 (May 2008) .
Please refer to this paper for details of the observations, analysis and interpretation.

The observation of J0424+0036 (0422+004) was made on 2001-Feb-17
with HALCA and 3 ground radio-telescopes over a duration of 01:50 (hours:minutes).
Baselines to HALCA were not necessarily available for all of that time.
The survey code for this source is vs07z.
The observation was correlated at the Mitaka correlator.
The source is classified as a BL Lac object object at a redshift of 0.310$^{*}$.
Please refer to the paper for full details and references.
