VSOP Survey Program observation of J1613+3412
J1613+3412
The data on this page are described in detail in
The VSOP 5 GHz AGN Survey: III. Imaging results for the first 102
sources
by Scott et al. in
Astrophysical Journal Supplement, 155, 33-72 (November 2004)
.
Please refer to this paper for details of the observations,
analysis and interpretation.
The observation of
J1613+3412 (1611+343)
was made on
04-02-1998 (dd-mm-yyyy)
with HALCA and 2 ground radio-telescopes over
a duration of 7:00 (hours:minutes).
Baselines to HALCA
were not necessarily available for all of that time.
The survey code for this source is vs02b.
The observation was correlated at the Mitaka correlator.
The source is classified as a quasar at a redshift of 1.401.
Please refer to the paper for full details and references.

(Note that asterisks or carets after the flux density
denotes a pair of overlapping components.)

Specific notes in the above paper for this source are:
Due to the lack of data on shorter baselines the extended emission to
the south, seen in the VLBA2cm1 and USNO images, is not seen in our
image. The area subtended by the core is < 0.07 mas^2.
