Proposal Abstract
Follow-up 5-GHz VSOP observations of two extremely high redshift (z>3) quasars
are proposed. First-epoch 5-GHz VSOP observations of 1351-018 (z=3.71)
and 1614+051 (z=3.22) showed core--jet structures in these
sources on mas and sub-mas scales, which warrant an attempt to detect
and measure proper motion on the VSOP angular scale, thus unreachable
for the ground-only VLBI observations. By means of the observations proposed
here we would like to study these structures with improved imaging
sensitivity, and to look for likely structural changes over
a period of about 3 years.
