IRTS/FILM CH1(155 micron Continuum) Map Ver.1.0 01/Dec/2000 by K.Okumura ============================================================= The continuum maps at 155 micron are observed by IRTS/FILM with an 8 arcmin by 13 arcmin beam size. The spactral resolution in the continuum channel is lambda/delta_lambda = 130. The absolute uncertainty at 155 micron is in the range of +26 and -19%. It was obtained from the pre-launch tests of the FILM. On the other hand, The relative error of the flux density maps is estimated to be about 6e-7 W/m2/sr (3-sigma). The detector noise was only 2e-7 W/m2/sr occupied. The major part of the error is due to insufficient correction in the responsivity changes of the FILM detectors (Ge:Ga photoconductor), which are occured in passages through the radiation regions and hits of cosmic rays. The detector noise was about 2e-7 W/m2/sr. The fits plate files cover a 13x13 degrees and are sampled in 4 arcmin bins in the galactic coordinate on the gnomonic projection as follows: Plate Number North-Scan: from ns01 to ns37 South-Scan: from ss01 to ss53 Plate Type flux density map : ss??_filmc1_flux.fits the number of data: ss??_filmc1_no.fits error map : ss??_filmc1_error.fits
