COMMENTS ON THE VENUS CLIMATE ORBITER UVI CALIBRATED DATA ARCHIVE

This document contains comments and errata concerning the Venus Climate
Orbiter (VCO, also known as PLANET-C and AKATSUKI) UVI Calibrated Data
Archive.

Users are encouraged to provide comments back to the Atmospheres Node if
errors are found either in data or in documentation.

This file, errata.txt, contains release notes and errata concerning the
Venus Climate Orbiter UVI Calibrated Data Archive.

During the course of the Venus Climate Orbiter mission the PLANET-C
Project Team may update previously released data products or
documentation; for example, updates may occur due to changes in
calibration data or procedures. Updates will be reported in this file.
Older versions of data and documentation will not be retained in the
archive.

Section A of this file contains an entry for each Venus Climate Orbiter
release (starting with release 1) with general information about the
contents of the release, in order from newest to oldest. Updates to
previously released files are reported in these entries, along with any
known errata.

Section B of this file contains general notes, if any, concerning the
archive as a whole.

PRODUCT TYPES RELEASED FOR THIS ARCHIVE: None
PRODUCT TYPES UPDATED FOR THIS ARCHIVE:
   VCO UVI Calibrated Data acquired with TOP OB mode.

Notes:
1. It's found that the pipeline has a bug for processing of images
   acquired with TOP OB mode. The flat field file for UVI image
   acquired with TOP_OB is not correctly applied.

   All of the UVI images acquired with TOP_OB mode in this volume
   in the previous release with the file version v10 are affected.

   The affected images can be identified by the filename or the
   PRODUCT_ID and the value of the FITS header keyword P_ID.
   If the filename contains v10 or the PRODUCT_ID contains V10
   and the value of the FITS header keyword P_ID is
   VCO_UVI_283_TOPOB or VCO_UVI_365_TOPOB, the image is affected.

   The images with the bug-fixed pipeline are provided as the file
   version v20 in this release.
