Timing Analysis of the WAM data

The WAM light curve FITS files can be produced by hxdmkbstlc for the BST data and hxdmkwamlc for the TRN data. You can produce light curves from both BST TH and PH data. After producing the light curve FITS ($*$.lc), you can enjoy the timing analysis using the XRONOS package.

The TIME column in the FITS file is usually shown by ASTETIME, i.e. the time (seconds) since 2000-01-01 00:00:00 (UTC). You can convert the ASTETIME into UTC with aetimecalc in HEADAS as follows

   e.x.) aetimecalc input=mission mission=1.8e8

or by the date converter at the HEASARC web site
