ETA_CARINAE
We propose to observe the luminous colliding wind binary Eta Carinae at the start and end of XRISM AO2. This interval is important since periastron passage of the binary is late summer 2025 and during AO2 the X-ray spectrum changes rapidly. XRISM/Resolve spectra are needed to determine how the dynamics of the X-ray emitting region of the colliding wind shock change with increasing stellar separation and changing shock orientation.
