Abstract

The jet production mechanism remains one of the most important questions in astrophysics, and a key is how mass accretion and disk wind are related to a jet. Therefore, we propose a 200 ksec observation on an X-ray bright radio galaxy 3C120 with XRISM, combining observations by mm-VLBIs: EAVN, GMVA, and EHT. With Resolve, we can constrain the disk wind properties, the mass accretion structure, and the disk truncation radius by resolving Fe XXV/XXVI lines, and narrow and broad Fe-K lines, respectively. Xtend can determine the jet synchrotron in soft X-ray. These can be directly compared to the jet activity and structure, spatially resolved by mm-VLBIs. By this powerful method, we constrain the relation of the jet production to mass accretion/disk wind most strongly so far.
