IGR_J16320-4751
We propose four 25ks XRISM observations of the highly absorbed high-mass X-ray binary (HMXB) IGR J16320-4751. The system exhibits strong X-ray variability from clumpy stellar winds and a narrow, albeit variable Fe Kalpha line (<200 km/s). Using Resolve's high spectral resolution, we will measure the branching ratio of Fe K alpha to probe clump ionization, separate narrow and broad line components to identify their origins, and search for a Compton shoulder to the Fe K alpha line. These observations will map the structure, composition, and dynamics of the dense stellar wind that drives accretion in highly obscured HMXB
