DDT TOO REQUEST OF GS 1354-64
A new outburst is currently taking place in the black hole X-ray binary system known as GS 1354-64. The level of its flux has reached 100 milli-Crab, and it is continuing to rise. Based on the hard X-ray data with NuSTAR, the source is supposed to be a black hole candidate that is spinning at a high rate; however, XRISM has never been observed such a kind of binaries. In order to resolve the iron line region of GS 1354-64, we request a 100 kilo-seconds XRISM observation using Resolve. This could be helpful in isolating any narrow characteristics that were not able to be resolved by the CCD-resolution data that was collected in the past, and it could also yield more accurate measurements of the black hole spin.
