This is a public data directory for the XRISM satellite, which was launched on September 7, 2023. Last updated Jul 12, 2025 ### data ### This is the main archive of observed data with XRISM. The archival data are categorized into two groups: the observation data under obs/ and the trend data under trend/. - Events from the unocculted period are included in the data sets under obs/. After the expiration of their proprietary period, encrypted observation data will be decrypted and made publicly accessible. - The detectors onboard XRISM are maintained in an operational state during slew and Earth occultation; however, no proprietary rights are granted for these periods, which are classified as trend data for all sequences. Additionally, trend/ provides additional housekeeping data. These data are accessible to all researchers following appropriate processing and calibration. Each obs/ and trend/ has subdirectories, revX, corresponding to the major processing versions, subject to the following notes. Users can refer to a more detailed processing version by consulting the PROCVER keyword in the FITS header. Please use the latest version for scientific purposes. ==================== rev3/ All the public data for pipeline version 3. Some bugs in the pre-processing stage reported for rev3.0 are fixed in this version. Corresponding to PROCVER=03.00.013.009, 03.00.013.010, 03.01.014.010, 03.02.014.010 Used from 2024-09-06 rev3.0/ During the performance verification phase, this version was distributed to the XRISM team as the first data confirmed for publication quality. Some issues are reported in the pre-processing stage, especially for bright targets, which cannot be corrected by user-hand reprocessing. The trend data for rev3.0 are not archived. Rev3 is a more updated version; please use rev3 instead of this version. Corresponding to PROCVER=03.00.011.008 and 03.00.012.008 Used within 2024-03-26 - 2024-09-05 for observations starting before 2024-08-16 rev2/ All the public data for pipeline version 2 can be found here. Note that some serious processing issues are identified for this version; for example, the wrong sky coordinates are recorded in event files due to an inappropriate attitude correction algorithm. Corresponding to PROCVER=02.01.008.007, 02.02.009.007, and 02.02.010.007 Used within 2023-09-11 - 2024-03-25 for observations starting before 2024-03-01
